Chairperson’s Message
At Bethel Children’s Center, our journey has been one of faith, compassion, and a deep commitment to transforming the lives of children and their families. For over a decade, from 2010 to 2023, we have worked closely with more than 250 rural families, supporting children from the earliest stages of life—even from the time they are in the mother’s womb.
Through a holistic approach addressing economic, educational, health, social, and spiritual needs, we have witnessed lasting change. With the support of Compassion International Lanka and our Board of Directors, we laid a strong foundation that led to our formal establishment as a registered company in 2022 and a recognized NGO in 2023.
Our work is inspired by Proverbs 22:6: "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it". We aim to nurture children with strong moral values, protect them from harm, and uplift families toward self-sufficiency. Looking ahead, we aspire to expand our services to a national platform to ensure no child is left behind.
